Suitcases to Safety Donation Drive
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the St. Croix County Child Support Agency is partnering with Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence to hold a Suitcases to Safety Donation Drive.
A display at the main entrance of the St. Croix County Government Center features suitcases packed with essential items, offering a glimpse at what someone leaving an abusive situation may be able to take with them. Purple pinwheels outside the Government Center also recognize the lives lost to domestic violence in Wisconsin.
According to End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin's 2026 Report, 101 people died in domestic violence-related incidents in Wisconsin last year.
How You Can Help
We’re collecting donations at the main entrance of the Government Center through October 30. Your contributions make a real difference. There is a need for:
- Clothes for all ages and sizes
- Personal hygiene products
- Baby and childcare items
- Phone chargers
- Suitcases or travel bags
- And more
Every item donated helps someone move toward safety and healing. Together, we can make a difference.
